damage tax a straight 10483 or 24811 build outdamages the aaneblast + oh + am rotation. This is mainly due to the ft that the MSD was nerfed and also the lightningapitor as well.

Is the Lightningapitor still good after the nerf in general not only for aane sp? Better than Quag´s eye for example? I have the on and Quag´s eye atmo. Sorry for derailing the thread.

Won't beat fire for raiding, but if you are just about to get 2nd pie t5 it means you are probably in a guild with progression still in tks. Aane is viable enough to run as that sp so you dont have to resp twe a week for hydrossa'lar. I am in a similar situation, and respced every week til got 2 t5, now I will stay as aane til we are in mh,
or until guild is at level that not using spells from my main sp wont hurt the raid. Fire is definately better but aane still keeps me top 5 in dps in guild on average. With
the new mana gems, better mana regen from sp, and if you have the shadowpriest youan now throw more aane blasts before debuff reset spells, so helps keep damage up a little more than with the oldookieutter rotations.
