The way the MSD & used to work (I still have em both for pvp) is that you would get an MSD pr andast AM. This would hit every
12 sond, andouldrit thus giving you a harge every 12 sond. In theory, if every AM pulseritted, you'd get a lightning bolt and be 23 of the way to the 2nd lighting bolt in just under 3 sonds. It was *sk* damage. It is still somewhat okay, but sie thehargesannot cumulate on the as quk, it
is not nearly as OP as it used to be, but I still kill people with a Lightning bolt now and again, and that's fun. Keep in mind, I only PvP on my horde mage anymore, thus my sp is not nearly as optimal for raids and sh.
Several problems with aane: - The serverclient handles AB damage and manaosts weirdly. Spells sometimesost more but have a slowerast than they should whenasting 2 or more in a row bause of how the debuff is applied. This means is does less damage than it should. - T is still the best trinket for Aane mages, worth about the same as a straight +100dmg in terms of how mh it ireases your damage. Thelosest trinkets are the Illidan trinket, the ZA trinket, and DMrusade. - Aane isompetitive with Fire until you hit HyjalBT. It is not vastly superior,
but on par. One of the biggest advantages is being able to only have 76 hit rating and still be efftivelyapped, instead of 164. Beyond T5, 04711+3 has better aling and pulls ahead again.
